Confusing product types

Solid wood is not the best

The Municipal Consumer Protection Committee reminded consumers that the purchase of wooden doors should go out of the "only the best solid wood door is the best" misunderstanding. From the characteristics, the original wooden door is made of coffin and plate made of natural logs. If the moisture content is improperly controlled, it is easy to produce deformation. The solid wood composite door is made of pine or Chinese fir, etc. After high temperature hot pressing, the moisture content of the materials used is easier to control than logs.

The wood used in traditional solid wood doors and modern solid wood composite doors has high, medium and low grades. The value of high-grade solid wood veneer exceeds that of low-grade solid wood, and many low-grade solid woods are more susceptible to deformation and cracking.
