The incredible design project in Paris by Caroline Keslassy
In today's post, we're celebrating design through an extraordinary project located in the heart of Paris. This remarkable **design project** was created by the renowned architect Caroline Keslassy, known for her world-class, illustrative style that often focuses on decorative elements. The project is situated in one of the most iconic and glamorous areas of the city—Place de l’Étoile. I hope you enjoy this beautiful space as much as I do!

Although Caroline draws inspiration from the innovative spirit of Silicon Valley, it's Paris—her hometown—that truly fuels her creativity. When a French cosmeceutical brand approached her to design their office, she chose to blend legend with modernity, carefully selecting textures and fabrics that reflect both elegance and innovation.
“I designed this office to reflect my client’s identity,†she explains. “The reception area includes multiple seating zones for different moments—informal spaces for working alone or making calls, and more formal areas for meetings. The niches offer private spots where people can focus and be creative.â€
This stunning office features luxurious pieces from top brands such as Essential Home’s Carver Armchair, Brabbu’s Earth Armchair, DelightFULL’s Brubeck Floor Lamp, Galliano ceiling lamps, and the refined Ike Floor Lamp.
“I don’t believe in cold, impersonal offices anymore. People need to feel at home, and the lines between work and living spaces should blur. I wanted to bring warmth, life, and friendliness into the design, using bold graphics and a touch of luxury.â€
CK Design used neutral tones and a rich array of textures to create a powerful and inspiring environment. The carpet pattern was inspired by fish scales, paired with shagreen and seashells, while the artwork features Andy Warhol’s serigraphy.
The reception area is a luminous space, designed with musical-inspired brass lighting that adds rhythm and warmth. Sheers were added to maintain privacy and add a poetic touch. The furniture combines mid-century aesthetics with a variety of textures, colors, and materials like Parisian tweed, silks, velvets, leathers, shagreen, seashells, tree fibers, parchments, and wood. The desk features clean, elegant lines.
