Italian company launches 3D printer controller to simplify 3D printing

It is not easy to learn 3D printing . Even if it is hard to learn, there will be various problems in the process of use, which makes it difficult to prevent. In response to this phenomenon, many manufacturers have introduced 3D printer managers, some of which are APPs, and some are small machines.

Recently, a new crowdfunding project, Noah, appeared on kickstarter, which can handle 3D printers via USB or wireless to handle slicing, power interruptions, and faults.

The company that initiated this crowdfunding was Kentstrapper, an Italian 3D printing service provider, founded in 2011 to develop hardware devices related to 3D printing. For Noah, their positioning is: to help 3D printing beginners successfully complete the learning process. It combines various problems that may occur during various 3D printing processes, such as running out of supplies, faults in printing, sudden power interruptions, etc. Noah can solve various printing problems perfectly.

Thanks to the sheer number of sensors, custom software, and Wi-Fi connections, users don't have to keep an eye on the machine (currently Noah can control up to six 3D printers at the same time), instead they can be monitored and operated from anywhere. It is reported that Noah is almost compatible with FDM 3D printers on the market. In addition, the device itself can handle the slicing process, and the user does not have to rely on other software for the slicing process. And can also achieve multiple user sharing (including file sharing).

If you are interested in this 3D printer controller, check out Kickstarter for a raise of 45,000 euros and now it has reached 2,170 euros.
