On the composition classification and printing device of glass ink

Glass glaze is made by mixing color material, low-melting glass and powdery flux, and then mixing with the binder to form a paste. The color material is usually made by calcining metal oxides and their salts at high temperature, and it is made at 500 degrees Celsius with the participation of flux. The color material is a substance that does not easily react with the flux and should not be a low-temperature decomposition product. The solvent is butyl diethylene glycol-diethyl ether, diethylene glycol-diethyl ether, acetate and turpentine. The flux mainly reduces the melting point of the color glaze, that is, the color glaze can be embedded in the glass to make it firmly adhere when the glass is softened. Fluxes are generally lead oxide and boron oxide with good water resistance, resistant titanium oxide, and alkaline zirconia resistant at low temperature. At the same time, it is required that the temperature and thermal expansion coefficient of the flux melting to the glass should be similar to that of the glass. The linking material is mainly synthetic resin and organic flux, and its function is to make the color glaze paste-like and easy to print. The binder is mainly ethyl cellulose, acrylic synthetic resin, nitrocellulose.

Classification of glaze

Glass printing color glazes are often classified according to the baking temperature of the color glaze. The baking temperature is about 600 degrees Celsius. The color glaze is suitable for high-temperature baking. This color glaze is resistant to acid, alkali and hydrogen sulfide. It will not cause cracks and peeling phenomenon, and it is suitable for permanent trademarks. The roasting temperature is about 580 degrees Celsius, which is a color glaze suitable for roasting flowers at medium temperature, and is suitable for the printing of thin-walled light bottle products. The glaze with a baking temperature of 550 degrees Celsius is a color glaze suitable for low-temperature baking. It is suitable for the printing of glass products that do not require high printing, such as thin-walled glass and light bulbs. In addition, it can also be classified according to the characteristics of printing, including ordinary color paste, thermoplastic color glaze, rainbow glaze and gold paste.

Printing device

Most flat glass decorative printing can use platform-type screen printing machine. The curved screen printing machine has two types of cylindrical and conical curved surface printing devices. The former adopts friction transmission and forced transmission, and the latter adopts the horizontal movement of the screen and the fan-shaped pendulum.
