The team has now demonstrated that when NPCs are in the vicinity of the immune response, especially when reacting with gamma-interferon released by immune cells, vesicles are released, and gamma interferon regulates immune responses and inherent brain repair procedures, which can be used in NPCs. Triggers a highly specialized gene activation pathway that also binds to a receptor on the surface of the vesicle.
