1. Selection of scanning method

The scanning method of the plane scanner can be divided into automatic and manual. These two different scanning methods will have different effects on the image quality.

1. Automatic scanning

Automatic scanning refers to the "AI" function, also known as the "fool" function. When the automatic mode is selected for scanning, the scanner will scan the image for the first time to identify the pixel distribution and the highest density and lowest density, so as to adjust the signals output by R, G, B after processing by the computer, and then Formal scan. (2) Setting of Curve and Gamma values

The state of the curve and the setting of the gamma curve will relate to the gradation performance after the image is scanned. Due to the difference in density contrast between the transmissive manuscript, the reflective mantle, and the printed matter, all levels on the manuscript must be copied on the printed matter, so that bright tones, midtones, and dark tones are fully reflected on the paper. 2. Scanning settings for printed manuscripts

3. Sharpness setting

The corresponding level of reflection may be better, but the amount of files will also increase, which greatly reduces the speed of file scanning, transmission and production. On the contrary, images with too low resolution will greatly reduce the content contained. Although the amount of files is reduced and the speed of file transmission and production is improved, the output of the film will be in the image part because the image resolution cannot be matched with the output accuracy of the film. There is a mosaic phenomenon.

When performing line scanning, set the image resolution as normal. There will be a lot of sawtooth at the corners and diagonal lines. Bring a lot of trouble to post-production. When the image resolution is increased to 1200dpi, the aliasing phenomenon will be greatly reduced. Of course, when increasing the image resolution, the scanning speed will be reduced due to the increase in the amount of files. But after scanning, in order not to affect the transmission and production speed of the file, the resolution of the file can be reduced to a normal state.
