The National Beer Bottle Quality Analysis Conference 2009 will be held in Xi'an

Participated in the conference were the AQSIQ Food Safety Supervision Department, Gansu Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision, Shaanxi Provincial Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, China Daily Glass Association, China Packaging Federation Glass Containers Committee, China Daily Glass Association Bottle Glass Representatives of professional committees and National Packaging Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Lanzhou); representatives of 69 beer bottle manufacturers and related companies; experts of Beijing University of Technology, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, AGR USA, and German Continental Company. The meeting completed the following main contents:

1. Liu Jianping, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Daily Glass Association introduced the national glass industry's production capacity, enterprise structure and development dynamics.

2. Yu Wei of the Department of Food Safety Supervision of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine gave detailed explanations on the definition of food and related products, the division of responsibilities of various government departments, and the quality responsibility of the company in the Food Safety Law. The "Food Safety Law" The Food Safety Division of the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) next steps in the supervision of food-related products (glass packaging for foods), and requires relevant companies participating in the conference to conduct a careful study of the "Catalogue of Licenses for the Production of Glass Products for Food". 3. Wang Jun, deputy director of the Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision of Gansu Province, introduced the quality of beer bottles nationwide. According to the regulatory requirements for food and related products under the Food Safety Law, he put forward ideas and suggestions for strengthening beer bottle quality supervision in the future.

4. Ni Xiaodong, deputy director of the National Packaging Quality Inspection Center, summarized the state supervision and spot checks of beer bottle quality in the third quarter of 2009.

In the third quarter of 2009, AQSIQ's Product Quality Supervision Division organized the National Packaging Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Lanzhou) to carry out national supervision and spot checks on the quality of beer bottles produced by 82 beer bottles in 26 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government. Samples of 82 samples were sampled, 67 were qualified, and 15 were unqualified. The qualified rate of spot inspection was 81.7%, which was 7.3% higher than in 2008. The qualified rate of sales was 90%. The qualification rate of large and medium-sized enterprises was 92.3%. Small enterprises The qualification rate is 60.6%. The failure rate of the project is beer bottle impact resistance and internal pressure can not meet GB4544-1996 "Beer Bottle" national standard requirements.

At present, the qualified rate of beer bottles in China is between 70-82%, which is still not optimistic. The main reason is that the different requirements of beer production companies have different effects on the quality of beer bottle production enterprises; the technical equipment and management level of small-scale production enterprises are not high; the accelerated differentiation of enterprises affects the overall quality of beer bottles; government supervision is not enough. Caused by the use of unqualified bottles without scruples. In view of the above reasons, it is recommended that according to the "Food Safety Law," the production of glass packaging products for food production license management; speed up revision of GB4544-1996 "beer bottle" national standards, more scientific and reasonable guidance of production and management; local technical supervision departments to increase Investigate and deal with efforts to effectively help unqualified companies, strengthen management, improve processes, and improve product quality; formulate beer bottle recycling norms, form a virtuous cycle of recycling bottles, and promote the mechanism for improving the quality of new bottles; and strengthen the technical exchanges among government departments and professional associations. 5. The senior engineer of National Packaging Quality Inspection Center (Lanzhou) Wang Jianping made a survey and summary report on the national wine bottle industry. The report elaborated the overview of the domestic and international wine bottles industry and pointed out eight major problems in the industry, such as the contamination of beer bottle spraying liquid, poor quality control of broken glass, unreasonable packaging and transportation methods, and uncontrolled quality of various recycling bottles. The report proposes measures and recommendations for the above issues.

6. The National Packaging Quality Inspection Center introduced the process of compiling the licenses for production licenses for food glass packaging products, and extensively solicited opinions from representatives.

7. The meeting invited domestic and foreign experts and scholars to communicate on the quality control and management of beer bottle production process, advanced technology and packaging methods. Prof. Tian Yingliang of Beijing Polytechnic University introduced the application of circumcision detection technology in bottle glass quality control from theory to practice. Vice President Luo Jinkun of Guangdong Huaxing Glass Co., Ltd. introduced the quality management experience of the company in strengthening key processes in the production process; AGR, USA, Chengdu Hongzhu Glass Auxiliaries Co., Ltd., Beijing Huayuda Glass Technology Co., Ltd., Yantai Kunmao Industry & Trade Co., Ltd., and Weifang Sanjiang Glass Machinery Co., Ltd. also conducted exchanges.

With the joint efforts of participating units and representatives, the meeting completed the scheduled content and was a complete success. The delegates further learned about the laws and regulations on product quality and food safety, and learned advanced management and technological techniques to improve product quality in varying degrees, which will surely play an active role in further improving the overall quality level of beer bottles in China.
