Brand new frozen food bags make food healthier and re-tighten

Introduction: When food is displayed on the shelf, only the most comprehensive packaging design can be displayed to customers, which can play an important role in attracting consumers. However, frozen foods currently on the market can hardly do this. Targeting this phenomenon, food startup SWAP has launched a brand new frozen food packaging bag.
When food is displayed on the shelf, only the most comprehensive packaging design can be displayed to the customer, which can play an important role in attracting consumers. However, frozen foods currently on the market can hardly do this. Targeting this phenomenon, food startup SWAP has launched a brand new frozen food packaging bag.
Stand-up bags that can be re-closure will become a new packaging method for frozen foods. Today, most of the packaged frozen foods are placed flat on the floor, or packed in a box with a bag as an inner package that cannot be reclosed after unpacking. Rebecca Peress, founder of food startup SWAP, said. She explained that most frozen food bags are laid flat, such as bags for frozen green beans and frozen corn. The packaged product is stacked on the shelf in a bag, so that only the narrow side of the bag can face the consumer. On this narrow side, there is not enough space left for the product name, leaving only the brand name for Bo's eyeballs.
Packing boxes can solve this type of problem, but once the inner bag is opened and the food is exposed to cold air, it can be frostbite, Peress said. If the label on the box is not guaranteed to be fixed again, the remaining food in the box is likely to fall out.
Standing, recloseable bags solve all the above problems. Peress uses this package for Swapples, a full-vegetable frozen waffle product.
Peress explained that the front face of the bag is very large and black in color so that it can be highlighted on the shelf.
This bag is not just the whole invention of the Swapples, this product itself also brought us a new food and beverage solution.
Peress says that, unlike other frozen waffles, Swappples are not made from flour and sugar, which are both high in calories and low in nutritional value. "We replaced those 'junks' with real vegetables, delicious sauces and oils."
The frozen food placed in this kind of bag is very unique. It avoids the unpleasant sweetness of other frozen waffles. It is also to cater for the low-sugar revolution that is being increasingly valued.
The spicy spinach was also introduced. Its spicy flavor comes from Mexican peppers, along with sweet potato curry, dried tomato and bagels.
Since Swapeples product does not add any sugar or flavors, it can be taken out of breakfast as part of lunch, dinner, and snacks.
Peress said she used Swapples as a gluten-free product to replace the bread in the sandwich. It can also be used to replace pita and dig up hummus. So, Swapples products are perfect with fruit and desserts. The product does not contain soy and nuts and is compliant with vegetarianism. It also meets any other dietary trend.
SWAP inspiration
Peress said that her inspiration for the development of Swapples was when she accepted the “Paleolithic diet” to deal with her autoimmune disorders, but she still missed bread.
Even though she has been relishing the fluffiness and softness of bread, she does not want to eat because she knows that the nutritional value of bread is very low. So she ate a vegetarian waffle.
For the above reasons, Peress eventually hopes to produce another kind of packaged food, replacing nutritional value food ingredients with more fruits and vegetables.
Admittedly, before that, she must start studying Swapeples. She is currently working in Washington, DC, running her own online shop and will promote the product to the entire country in the future.
However, only 2% of the money spent on food and beverage consumption today is transferred via e-commerce. Peress believes that this kind of sales channel will definitely develop greatly in the future, because it saves a lot of time for consumers, and it is very rare at present, but it has very high value.
The road ahead is still long, but Peress is not afraid. On the contrary, she is very excited. The energy in her body, as well as her love for her product ideas, drive her forward. She said she was very excited and able to walk on the road to what she loved.
