In contrast, the minimum dot size that can be obtained by offset CTP direct plate making is 1%, and the dots on the plate are cleaner, clearer and sharper, so the printed label has a better layer and a stronger stereoscopic effect.

(3) Advanced printing process

Since the in-mold label uses a synthetic paper material, the ink has a longer drying time on its surface than the paper label material. Therefore, in order to ensure production efficiency, it is necessary to select a UV ink which has a faster drying speed in production. The "Kunlun Tianwei CD50 diesel engine oil in-mold label" selects the UV161 series ink provided by Hanghua Ink Chemical Co., Ltd., and the printing method adopts the UV offset printing process. During the printing process, ultraviolet light is irradiated onto the UV ink on the surface of the in-mold label. The liquid state becomes solid, enabling instant curing. The advantages of UV curing printing are mainly as follows.

Compared with ordinary offset printing, the curing process in UV offset printing only needs to flash under the UV lamp, completely subverting the concept of curing time in "seconds", and the color does not change after instant drying. The ink is quickly dried, saving printing time and allowing sufficient time for subsequent processing.

2. The printing ink layer has strong wear resistance

After the UV ink is cured into a film, the abrasion resistance is good, and the loss due to wear during use of the in-mold label and transportation is reduced.

3. Green environmental protection

UV offset printing can be called a green printing . This is mainly because the UV ink does not contain volatile organic solvents, can be dried instantaneously, does not have the problem of contamination of the atmosphere by the volatilization of organic solvents, and also eliminates the application of anti-stick dusting, greatly improving the working environment. Its environmental protection characteristics cater to people's requirements for the safety and environmental protection of labels.
