How is color chromatography of color inkjet printing?

Color inkjet printing constitutes a chromatogram by adjusting the ratio of ink droplets ejected to the three primary inks in each tiny area (i.e., pixels) of the substrate surface. There are two different ways to do this:

1, dot matrix method - "super pixel"

2, the original color ink droplet imaging method

First, the dot matrix method - "super pixel"

Applying a matrix pixel system to generate a color dot matrix is a more easily controllable group color method, and a 2X2 matrix can obtain two gray levels.

If three kinds of meta-colors are used, each has two gradation levels, and in combination with each other, 5 to the third power, that is, 125 colors can be obtained.

If a larger dot matrix is used, the monochromatic gray scale can be increased, and the number of possible colors is also greatly increased.

Second, the original color ink droplet imaging method

The primary color ink droplet imaging method is to control the nozzle to produce different primary gray color droplets (pixels) on the surface of the substrate to obtain different gray scales and chromas.

For example, the nozzle is designed to spray 0-15 drops of ink on the same part as needed to form 16 different gray scales. This method can print very good moiré.
