How to evaluate the properties of the catalyst using a package density meter
The MicroPyc package densitometer from Mike Instruments can be used to determine the packing density and bulk density of a sample. In determining the packing density, GeoPyc uses a non-toxic, easy-to-clear DroPyc that replaces the mercury, molten wax and other materials used in conventional methods without any damage to the sample. The sample can be used for further testing or recycling. In this paper, the properties of the catalyst are characterized by using a package density meter to obtain the packing density and porosity of the catalyst. In addition, nine catalyst samples were selected and tested by the package density meter and mercury intrusion meter, and the results of the two groups were compared. The comparison showed that the deviation between the two groups was only 3%.
